The dress is pretty girly, but her attitude is kept quite strong and powerful. She shares a video montage for winning the title. She does this on Twitter on December 9. The video is about mimicking the special power pose of Meghan which she did after striking two goals against France.

She dedicates her award to all of her fans and hopes to receive the same amount of love and support in the future as well. Featuring Meghan in the Sports Illustrated makes her the fourth woman to have done so. In the history of 66 years, it is only four times that a woman has claimed this title individually.
Rapinoe is one strong personality who has managed to change the perception of women athletes and all women in general. Apart from this prestigious recognition, she was also awarded the FIFA Player Of The Year. She also won World Cup two times including one this year against France.
