Rudy Boesch is a retired U.S Navy SEAL. He was one of the many contestants in the first season of Survivors. Rudy Boesch was 91 years old and a really nice person. He was battling against Alzheimer’s disease for a few years now. On Saturday, people reported that Rudy Boesch is no more. In 2000 Rudy was in the show. He was 72 at that time when he was competing in the show. He was older than the other contestants but made very good friendships. Due to his training and experience, he was also performing well in the show. The reality series is now a hit and has a huge fan base. At the competition, Rudy was in 3rd place just behind Kelly Wigglesworth. The winner of the show that season was Richard Hatch.
Rudy Boesch was a very fun-loving guy. He was a very good human being and a very kind human. His friend and family really miss this loss. Rudy Boesch became very good friends with Richard. Rudy was born in Rochester, New York, in 1928. At the young age of 17, Rudy was ready to join the army. With the end of the Second World War in 1945, he was in the army. With hard work and a lot of training, he became a Navy SEAL in 1962. Boesch was also in the very famous Vietnam War.
He successfully completed two combat deployments. Due to his heroics in the war, he was awarded a Bronze Star for his heroic contributions. After giving 45 years of his life serving in the army, he retired. When he retired from the navy, he was a Master Chief Petty Officer in the year 1990. Rudy was happily married to Marjorie Thomas. Their marriage was for 53 years, and then his loving wife was not anymore in 2008. They had three children.
