MediEvils Remake’s unlockable PS1 version

MediEvil PS4 remake gives a chance to play the original game in a new way. There is an Easter egg hidden in the game, which takes the player to the classic version of the game. Hidden in the PS4 is the original PS1 version of the game.

This version of the game can be played when the payers complete the set tasks. To play Medievil in its original and full glory, players have to find Lost Soul, which are hidden all over the game.

There are 19 such souls. The player may have to play the whole game to find all these Lost Souls.

The players will be given riddles to the location of the Lost Souls. On the map, there will be an “S” to indicate whether the souls have been found or not.

Players will have to replay all the levels for it. After all the 19 Lost Souls are located, players can go to the main menu and play the PS1 version of the game.

PowerPyx shared the instructions to play the “Old Game” in a breakdown of steps.
The description on the release of MediEvil was “Step into the bones of Sir Daniel Fortesque, a slightly-inept (and long-dead) knight accidentally resurrected by his greatest enemy, the evil sorcerer Zarok,” Sony says about the game.

“With a 2nd chance to foil his greatest foe, Dan will once again set out to save the kingdom of Gallowmere and earn his place as a true hero.”

The game was released on 25th October 2019. The game was initially released back in 1998 in Japan and 1999 in America.
