This Christmas will be all about a massive miracle. The Cast of the “Facts Of Life” will reunite for a film on Lifetime. The name of the movie is “You Light Up My Christmas. According to TV Guide, the cast of the super hit comedy show of the 1980s will reunite yet again for a movie this Christmas. Kim Fields, Nancy McKeon, Lisa Whelchel, and Mindy Cohn will all come together for this movie. The movie will first air on December 1 at the networks annual 8/7c “Its A Wonderful Lifetime.” This is its own programming.
The movie takes its inspiration from true events. As per the description on the official site, the movie follows with Emma returning to her home town. Her hometown is situated around the Christmas light Factory, which happens to be her family’s pioneer. She arrives there before two weeks of Christmas. Emma, soon after her return, finds out the lights have lost its shine. They have gone dim. The town, which was once the heart of all festivities have gone dull and dim. This arrival of hers gave her the opportunity to rekindle with an old flame. Emma took this opportunity to ignite lights both in their hearts and also in the town.
Kim Fields stars as Emma. She is not only an actor in this film but also happens to be the executive producer of the film. She is one of her interview to People talks about how she approached her former castmates to reunite again. Fields also mention that they were super happy and eager to partner up together yet another time.
Fields, in her statement, says, “We are all sisters. When we get to hang out personally, we possess a ball. But with family, it is all about making memories and having fun. So when we got the opportunity to combine it all into one, we grabbed it immediately”. She concluded by saying, “It is always amazing to work together. Being all ladies, we provide a lot of inputs. From names to wardrobes to jokes and fun, we have it all”.
The fans of the cast “Facts Of Life will certainly be happy to see them come together again. Fields further mention that this movie will also be a tribute to Charlotte Rae, who left us last year.
