Kenny Dixon, drummer for Kane Brown, passes away, latter mourns loss

Kenny Dixon, the 27 year old drummer for Kane Brown and his band, was killed in a speed-related car crash on October 12th.

Kenny Dixon’s demise was confirmed by the band and his fiancée, Sarah Hedrick. The couple has a three year old son, Levi. The Country Musician, Kane Brown, took to social media to break the news of the tragic passing of his bandmate and intimate.

He also paid a sentimental tribute to him on Instagram. Kane wrote, “Love you so much dude!!! You started all of this with me from the start in 2015 when nobody else believed we would make it out of Chattanooga playing for 500 people and your last show was in Fn stadium my guy — I know u will be watching over us with that red neck accent that we love and you will never be replaced bro!!! I promise you that!!” He posted a picture of himself and Dixon performing, along with this heartbreaking message.

Brown’s representative, in an official statement, said, “ It is with profound sadness and disbelief that we confirm we lost our drummer Kenny this weekend in a tragic car accident. Kenny was a member of our family from the very beginning, and our hearts are with his fiancée, Sarah, his son and everyone who knew him. He was truly one of the greatest and kindest people on and off stage we’ve ever known.”

As believed by the spectators of Kane Brown’s tour, Dixon was a stupendous drummer. His drumming had received rave reviews from people who came to witness the band’s performance. Ever since Dixon’s unfortunate death, fans of both, Kane Brown and the band, have been offering condolences to his fiancée, family and friends. They have taken to social media platforms to mourn the loss of the artist.
